AI Implementation
Technology only drives you as far as the convictions it’s built on.
You know your mission. Your AI strategy hasn’t caught up yet.
We bring you AI that serves your purpose, not another tool. Your operations can’t be handed to an AI system any more easily than a new hire. With Confluency, your team leaves with a system you understand and trust, built around the way you already work.
How We Work
Our Process
You learn the gaps.
We interview the people closest to the work — not just leadership — to find where friction lives. Before we build anything together, your team participates in a hands-on AI literacy session so nobody is handed a system they don’t understand.
You get a system, not a template.
Your ops team stops spending hours each week coding invoices. Your sales rep writes a proposal in twenty minutes. You decide what gets built; we explain how the system works in plain language.
You own the output.
You understand what you have and how it works. Clear documentation means the capability stays yours, not ours. If something changes down the line, you can bring it back to us or adapt it yourself.
Client Work
In Practice
From manual triage to automated AP pipeline
Accounts payable was a full-time job waiting to happen: invoices from 19 sites hitting one inbox, manually coded and routed by two people. We built a system that reads each invoice, matches it to the right account, and routes it for approval with manual review for exceptions only. The team absorbs the work without adding headcount.
From AI overwhelm to company-wide confidence
AI use was scattered and directionless, and attitudes among the team ranged from quiet adoption to overt fear. Four hands-on sessions with the core team and a targeted session for sales built shared vocabulary and practical judgment for where AI fits the work. The team left with a working framework and the clarity to act on it.
“There are so many entrance points and opportunities with AI that it’s overwhelming. I think this is one of the big barriers to getting started with implementation. Having Zach and Confluency Partners to support us — and to find approachable, digestible, and tactical ways to use AI to make us more efficient and use it responsibly — has been a big boost as we look to leverage this new tool as much as possible to expand our mission and improve our business.
Zach Kingery
The skepticism is warranted. AI has earned its hype train and its critics in equal measure. After three years building and using these tools, I’ve landed somewhere more useful than either camp: a pragmatic conviction that mission-driven organizations have a real, durable advantage if they approach this technology on their own terms. That’s the problem I know how to solve.
